It’s well worth the (rather arduous) journey
Let’s get straight to the point. The CB Inn, buried in the depths of the North Yorkshire Dales, is a great English pub.
After four or five hours of tedious driving along the country’s beleaguered roads, this was not what I was expecting to find.
I was tired, angry – I wanted to be nowhere more than I my own home.
But then there was the CB Inn – tucked away 20 miles or so from the A1 in a tiny, almost unpronouncable place called Arkengarthdale.
