Although Mae West’s signature line from She Done Him Wrong (1933) is often remembered as “Come up and see me sometime” – the actual line went, “why don’t you come up sometime and see me? … Come on up, I’ll tell your fortune.”

Oh, that Theresa May. When she’s good, she’s very good. When she’s bad, she’s better.
